OK, FOUND MY NOTES........

I knew I had these damn things somewhere...
Ok,lets see what I thought about the rest
Of the bands at the benefit saturday at THE CAVERN,
Let me start by adding to my last post,
I am very happy that E.P.D. didnt take the
Silly advice that just because the show was a
Benefit,that they had to chill out and be
Politicaly correct,non-sense,play what you
Play and do it YOUR WAY!!! THEY KICK-ASS!!
Ok,EVA ANEXORA, again,never had the pleasure
To see/hear these guys and I liked em',
I think in my last post I may have gotten
These guys mixed up with another band,
OOPS,(hey,I drink,leave me alone)
I think these guys have a big RUSH influance,
Which when done right sounds great,
Well,they did it right,
I could tell these guys have a good time just
Get'n together and jam'n,and they have a
Very tight group there,they are enchanting in
The most metal of ways!
GO SEE THEM if there anywhere near you,you'll love 'em.
Then there was DARKER SHADE OF GREY,
A very young,fresh band that I believe with
A little more practice and stage presence
WILL be one hell of a power group,
Keep going guys,
You have a hell of alot of potential!
Then came LOST EDEN,
WOW,do these guys have a FOLLOWING,
As soon as they started setting up the bar just
Started gettin packed.
And they had the first PIT of the evening!
(I miss the PIT,sorry about the old guy,he don't
Understand the concept!)
LOST EDEN is a very tight four piece that have
Blended the rythms of the doors and korn into
Their own sound,and I think it works really well!
And the last band I can remember hearing was
ENTRAIL!!!!!
Holy shit are these guys FUCKIN HEAVY!!!
Not in a blow your ear drums out way,
Heavy in the"I have to get out of my seat and
Slam myself into someone"kind of way!!!!
The guitar and bassist were so tight that I
Couldnt tell where one left off and the other
Began,The vocals were ripe and refreshing and the
Drummer was on the money every single beat!!!
I want to see this band again!!!
All in all it was a great showing of OUR areas
Local talent,and WE have some great talent here!!
If this showing of bands is a sighn of what
Is to come this summer I can tell you this,
You had better get out to some shows
Cause this summer is going to be chalked full
Of talented young musicians,
Kickin' some serious ass!!
Some of these bands have all the potential
Needed to get sighned and plucked from our
Little neck of the woods.I sure hope so......
