Fusco Sez...

Here's what happened.................

Well,where were you last night????????
Were you at THE CAVERN for the open mic/jam??
What else could you have been doing??
If you werent there you missed a bunch
of good music and a crowd that we hav'nt
seen in quite a while!!!
It didnt look good in the begining,
The crowd was slow to get there,
But,they did show up!!
We had three completely new musicians that
never came down for the shows!!
They said they heard about it from(you guessed it)
From VINNY,on WNGZ 104.9!!!!
BIG THANKS to VINNY,
Let me tell youz guyz that we are lucky
That VINNY is in our area,
Ive been around here for a while,and I cant
Think of any other radio personality that has
Jumped right into the local music scene
With the fever that VINNY has.....
When is the last time you called up the
local radio station to try and plugg
Your up-coming show and hear the dj announce
it right on the spot!!!!!!!??????
Not many times that I can think of....
Back to the show thursday night,,,,,,,
N.Y.C.face 3 hosted what could have been our last
open jam,I say could have been because I hav'nt
Spoken to the owner yet,but I believe
We may have staved off the execution of the jam.
LOOSELY played a very tight set and I got
A preview of their up-coming cd,
It was a rough cut but let me tell you
I could tell that this CD is gonna sell out fast!
Press alot of em guys,they will go fast......
After LOOSELY we were treated to a sweet
jam from about eight different musicians,
One right after the other got up,
Grabbed an instrument or the mic and ROCKED!!!!
We had broken guitar strings,broken drum sticks,
And even a rare broken snare drum!!!ha ha..
Lucky the FUSC had a spare!!!!
All in all,I believe with summer coming
And the new exposier were gettin we should be ok.
Fingers crossed right??
Oh ya,ADAM even showed up with his lovely wife,
I think he was as buzzed as I was.(ye haw adam!)
So thanks to everyone who came out,
And to all of you that were going to show up,
I'll let it slip this time,but come on,
Come on down and lets get this party goin strong!
