Welcome back!
Well,you read the headline,
and heres the rest of the story.......
Weve got a situation here and we cant let it happen!
The thursday night open mic/jam at THE CAVERN
is now in a critical condition!!
I had a conversation with the owner of the
CAVERN last night,
And let me tell you it wasnt a good one!!!
He seems to think that the jam has played
its self out and no crowds are showing up!
Well,we havnt had the crowds in the last
couple of weeks,I'll give him that!
But this jam has not,in my mind,
played its self out!!,Not by a long shot!!!!
He doesnt even want to do it this week!!!?????
But THE FUSC is on the case and I'll
be damed if I'm gonna let this go down the drain!!
So heres what were gonna do,
If I have to pay these guys myself this week,
I'll do it,cause I truly believe that these
jams are important to everyone who enjoys
LIVE MUSIC and the improv that comes with
an open jam like this one!!
I want ALL of you who can make it down to
THE CAVERN this thursday night to show up,
That way we can kill two birds with one stone!!
First we can show the owner that WE do care
about the local music scene,
and second,to prove that the last few weeks were
just a FLUKE!
I promise,if you show up It'll be worth your time
because we ALWAYS have a nice assortment of musicians
from lots of different groups and sounds!!!
So HELP,PLEASE,
Cause we cant afford to lose anymore places
where we can go,hang with LOCAL MUSICIANS and
have a good time!!!
Tell your web illiterate friends about our plight
and get them off thier ass's and get 'em
down to THE CAVERN this thursday,
Don't let this be the LAST JAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
